A lovely woman is like a plant
You pick her up you take her home
You give her love and she begins to bloom
But then she withers ‘cause what she needs is room.
A love affair is like a book
You see the cover and oh you like the look
You take it home you read each page
And you can’t put it down
take your time to memorise the lines
not all books are Happy in the end
especially if you read them blind
But it will all be over fairly soon my friend
Cos nothing lasts for good.
Had a lot of plants – had a lot of books to read
I would read them over if I could…
If I could……..
